Central Florida Real Wedding At The Sugar Barn
This real wedding took place at a stunning Central Florida wedding venue called, The Sugar Barn. But let’s rewind to the beginning and listen to the the love story.
Betsy and Justin, a couple from Central Florida, crossed paths in 2019 through the dating app Hinge. Their first date took place at Disney Springs and instantly, Betsy felt a profound connection with Justin. She says she immediatley knew that Justin was The One. Their bond deepened during a summer retreat to Cape Cod, where Justin too discovered he had fallen in love.
Real Wedding Love Story

Recently, we had the pleasure of chatting with Justin and Betsy, and here’s what they shared:
“What is your favorite thing about each other?”
Betsy: “Justin’s humor.”
Justin: “Betsy’s kindness.”
Regarding the proposal, Justin orchestrated a breathtaking surprise during their vacation at the Don Cesar, one of Tampa’s top 10 outdoor wedding venues. As the sun dipped below the horizon, Justin seized the perfect moment and proposed to Betsy on the beach. Their intimate moment was met with spontaneous applause and cheers from strangers enjoying the beach, making it an utterly magical experience.
The Wedding
On a gorgeous sun filled June day in Florida, these two were married at The Sugar Barn in Lake Wales, FL. The couple chose this wedding venue because they knew it would be a beautiful setting for their special day. With a 45′ stone fireplace, and 8′ crystal chandelier housed within an elegant farmhouse Justin and Betsy truly chose the perfect location.
Advice From One Couple To Another
After the wedding Justin and Betsy shared some insight about planning a wedding. When asked “What advice would you give to couples planning a wedding?” They replied, “Don’t go overboard…it goes by so fast and those small moments are the most memorable!”
