The Socialite Event Planning team has led the successful planning for Ms. Veteran America since 2021, handling all logistics from hotel sourcing, food and beverage planning, design, vendor sourcing, and on-site logistical management. This third year back in Orlando was no exception, and planning the event again was nothing short of rewarding.
The three day, large-scale event begins on Friday morning with the preliminary competition for finalists that includes a panel interview and talent competition. Friday evening allows the contestants to relax and get to know each other at the Ladies Night welcome event. On Saturday the constants participate in rehearsal as part of their final preparations for Sunday’s event. The weekend culminates on Sunday with the final competition and crowning of Ms. Veteran America.
This year, 15 finalists competed to become Ms. Veteran America. The winner will travel around the United States to educate citizens about the unique challenges that women veterans face.
The purpose of Ms. Veteran America is to showcase “The Woman Beyond the Uniform” and to honor the service and sacrifice of our Women Warriors. This one-of-a-kind competition “highlights more than the strength, courage, and sacrifice of our nation’s military women, but also reminds us that these women are Mothers, Daughters, Sisters and Wives.”
Ms. Veteran America benefits The Final Salute Inc., whose mission is to end homelessness for women veterans and their children.
