Socialite Event Planning is proud to be connected to Building Homes for Heroes. This fulfilling partnership has allowed usto play a small role in this amazing nonprofit organization. In 2024 , we had the honor of being the logistics planner for their NY Stock Exchange Charity Gala.
Building Homes for Heroes contacted us about four weeks before the event. They were in need of additional assistance with the planning. They requested we come on board and help take it from vision to execution. This included managing the hotel, welcome dinner, and the charity gala. Their team had already planned the entire event but wouldn’t be available to attend and engage with their important attendees. Therefore, our team took over the event details so they could focus on building relationships and educating their sponsors and donors.
Our duties included booking transportation for VIP guests, greeting guests upon arrival, advancing the welcome dinner, and escorting guests from the hotel to the venue for the ringing of the bell on the NY Stock Exchange. The night ended with the gala.
With just under two hours to prepare for the big event, we were at the venue to ensure the set-up reflected their vision for the gala while adhering to the timeline for the day. Afterward, we remained at the venue throughout the event to manage the flow of food service and coordinate with the AV team.
