How did you meet?
We met working in a restaurant during college.
When and where was your first date?
I don’t know if you count Sports Town as a date but that was our first outing together.
When did you each know the other was the “one”?
We have been together for 10 years and love being around each other whether we are chatting and laughing or sitting in silence on the couch. It wasn’t a moment for us but more like many moments that make us love each other more and more each day.

Family is everything to us<3
Tell us about the proposal
It was New Years after the ball dropped in 2019. I was pregnant with our daughter so naturally I was in bed and he came in the room and asked if I would marry him and I said “of course” not realizing he was proposing to me… Good times.
What was the most memorable part of your wedding day?
The moment that I keep thinking about is just seeing all of our close family and friends around us dancing and eating and drinking and have a great time. Almost everyone invited showed up and for some reason that surprised me. We are so loved and blessed and I felt it that day.
Why did you select your venue?
It was the white barn and the beautiful pasture that did it for me. Everywhere you walked in that place was just natural beauty and it was just breath taking.
Why did you want to hire Socialite Events?
I met Stephanie in my mom’s neighborhood. She’s super sweet and knowledgeable about planning a wedding. After we met with her for a consultation, I realized I needed her in my wedding journey.
What advice would you give to couples planning a wedding?
It sounds cliché but don’t sweat the small stuff, live in the moment and remember why you are planning a wedding in the first place.
